The Manfrotto 231CS Chrome Steel Column Stand is the original column stand with a spring-loaded sliding arm and is a great stand for in-studio or on location. The spring-loaded arm allows for easy positioning of lights. Some creatives use this stand as a camera stand too! A column that can be easily separated with the provided Allen key and fold up legs, allow for quick easy transport when needed. The braked wheels along with a wide footprint of 100 cm/39.4 inch allow for small or large modifiers to be added to your LED, Strobes, or panel lights. Capable of loads up to 8 kg/17.6 lb this stand allows lighting to be positioned as low as 35 cm/13.8 inch or at a max height of 250 cm/98.4 inch. You can even add a second sliding arm to the stand for more creative lighting effects.
